Government records are not hosted here, and there is no affiliation with a town office, state agency, court, library, or other custodian.
2. Acceptable Use

3. No Consumer-Reporting Role
This reference is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq. Neither its text nor a result from a linked search tool is a consumer report. Nothing returned through these pages may be used to decide eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or another purpose regulated by the FCRA.
4. Outside Links and Services
Government portals, libraries, archives, and third-party services, including sponsored search tools, set their own terms and privacy rules. We do not control their content, uptime, fees, results, or data practices and are not responsible for them.
5. No Warranties
The reference is supplied "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. Accuracy, completeness, current coverage, uninterrupted access, and correct results from a linked portal are not promised.
6. Liability Limits
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from use of this reference or an outside resource, including a decision based on a record reached through it.
7. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the operators from claims or demands, including reasonable attorney fees, that result from misuse of the reference or a violation of these Terms.
8. Intellectual Property
The original writing, design, logo, and layout are protected by copyright. Linking to a page and quoting short, attributed excerpts is welcome. Republishing complete pages or copying the material systematically is not permitted.
9. Changes to the Terms
A revised version may be posted here from time to time. Continued use after the revised text appears means that the new version is accepted.
10. Ending Access
Access may be blocked or limited for a user who violates these Terms or abuses the reference, at the operators' discretion and without advance notice.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Connecticut law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Public-record access questions discussed in the reference are informed by the Connecticut Freedom of Information Act, C.G.S. §§1-200 through 1-243, while courts, vital records, voter records, and other custodians follow their own statutes and rules.
12. Severability
